Family Photographer Belfast
As a Family Photographer I have the best fun.
Together we can create a relaxed atmosphere, where no one is expected to perform. Traditionally children have bundles of energy at the beginning of the shoot. Nerves kick in too being around someone new in a strange environment.
That’s the main reason I come to you, I want to keep the day relaxed and fun.

For family photography shoots we have used locations in Belfast, Carrickfergus, Ballymena and I have even ventured up to our glorious North Coast.
You will see we have managed to create joy and personality in each image. Thats purely down to everyone being relaxed and having fun.
Studio photography does not lend itself to feeling relaxed and natural. Flashes, equipment, noise bouncing off the walls and meltdowns because they wont smile at the camera. This is never an issue on my family shoots, its me talking and laughing with the kids as they climb a tree
I have spent over 25 minutes looking for the best acorn and I’ve rolled down hills.
We have searched for primroses and watched squirrels jumping from branch to branch. Children love to explore and I’m there to capture that excitement and joy, its magical!

MINI SESSION
This is a 1 hour location session within Belfast, at a lovely park, gardens, or even your home.
This package includes:
15 High Resolution digitals of your choice from your fully edited gallery
8×6 framed image of your choice

FAMILY SESSION
This is a 2 hour location session within Belfast, at a lovely park, gardens, or even your home.
This package includes:
Your entire digital gallery in high resolution downloads (approx 35 images)
A beautifully framed 8×12 print
This session is a lovely way to update your family memories, we will play games, go for a dander and just have fun few hours exploring outdoors
£299
It is possible to upgrade your mini session to include downloads of your entire High Resolution Digital gallery for a small additional upgrade fee of £120, this is purely optional and can be done after you have viewed your gallery.
** My sessions are built around a family of 8 and a small charge of £10 for each additional person thereafter will be charged.
LOVELY EXPERIENCE
Mel was absolutely fantastic! She took us for a fun walk in the forest, played games and got us all smiling naturally as opposed to the fake awkward smile that we all do! A lovely experience and brilliant photos. Will be going back to Mel for our annual family shoots going forward. Thanks

Why Me
Wedding Photography is a big business in Northern Ireland, in fact anywhere. A majority of Wedding Photographers offer family shoots as a bolt on. My Family Photography business is not a bolt on, it is my speciality and it is my passion.
I dont want to just take a nice picture of your child. On our family shoot, we will be creating wonderful memories of you being with your children. As you are everyday, there will be nothing artificial, especially the joy.
